About 1st Blinds

1st Blinds was the result of a partnership between a brick and mortar building materials distributor and a web solution provider back at the dawn of the commercial Internet. 1st Blinds was launched and soon began attracting users with it's pleasing feel and easy to use features and discount pricing. Our recent redesign was aimed at updating up the look yet still maintaining a firm commitment to simplicity and ease of use.

Once 1st Blinds was completed attention focused on building 1st Windows, a logical extension resulting in the creation of a intuitive ecommerce system that contains complete product information including pricing for more than 20,000 individual products from national manufacturers such as Andersen, Milgard, Velux, Jeld-Wen, International and others. 1st Windows is still the industry leader in providing first quality vinyl wood aluminum and fiberglass windows, doors and skylights at great prices.

After completion of 1st Windows a new direction was decided upon which, while still grounded in the construction market, was an entirely new concept: CAD. Computer Aided Drafting has been around since the 1970's but 1ST Pricing sought to bring to a basic blueprint a truly accurate building materials schedule based on drag and drop objects such as door and windows. Drag in a door, customize it's size and features and it appears on the schedule, along with complete specifications as well as pricing from up to five different manufacturers. 1ST Pricing's unique processes are patent pending proven market based technology. The original version of 1ST Pricing was featured in TurboCAD Version 8 and has been included in every subsequent version. Recently a version was developed for popular AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop (ADT) versions and as of year end is developing additional programs for other commonly used CAD platforms.
